Samsung launched the Galaxy Mega 6.3 (GT-I9200), the company’s first smartphone with a 6.3-inch display back in May in India. It went on sale in India last month. We brought you the unboxing of the Mega 6.3 earlier this week. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. The Galaxy Mega 6.3 is the first smartphone to launch in India with a dual-core Snapdragon 400 MSM8930 chip clocked at 1.7 GHz. It is based on Krait 300 architecture and 28nm process. Quadrant Benchmark
Even though this is dual-core chip, it scores over 6000 points in the Quadrant benchmark.
AnTuTu Benchmark 3.3
In the AnTuTu Benchmark 3.3, it scores over 13800 points, better than the quad-core MediaTek chips.
Vellamo 2.0 (HTML5)
It tops the Vellamo 2 HTML5 browser benchmark with over 2000 points.
Vellamo 2.0 (Metal)
The Mega 6.3 scores over 700 points, almost similar to the K900, in the Vellamo 2 Metal CPU subsystem performance test.
Linpack – Single Thread
Linpack – Multi-Thread
The Mega 6.3 grabs the second spot, just behind the Optimus G in both the Linpack single thread and multi-thread test.
NenaMark 2
It clocks 59.2 fps, better than the Mega 5.8 in the NenaMark 2 GPU test.
GFXBenchmark 2.7 T-Rex (On screen)
It clocks 11 fps in the GFXBenchmark 2.7 T-Rex benchmark.
GFXBenchmark 2.5 Egypt HD (On screen)
In the GFXBenchmark 2.5 Egypt, it clocks 27 fps, better than the Ascend Mate.
Basemark X (Onscreen)
