Nokia Lumia 1020 Yellow & Black headed to O2 UK in September, 64GB variant might be coming too

O2 UK have updated their coming soon page to show they’ll be stocking the Nokia Lumia 1020 in Yellow from next month. The Lumia 1020 will also be available in Black from O2 and will run on their 4G network, which launches on August 29.Another piece of related news is that O2 UK might be carrying a 64GB version of the Lumia 1020 too in addition to the usual 32GB which is currently on sale in the US.

Equipped with a 41 megapixel camera sensor, the Lumia 1020 brings Nokia’s true PureView technology (which launched on the 808 PureView running Symbian) to their Lumia Windows Phone range. Alongside the very impressive camera, the Lumia 1020 also comes with ZEISS optics, Optical Image Stabilisation, a Xenon flash and a LED light for videos.

The Lumia 1020 also comes with Nokia Pro Camera, that brings advanced DSLR-like camera options (including shutter speed, aperture and ISO) to a smartphone camera. Along with easy tutorials showing you how to take the best photos, the Pro Camera shows the effect your settings will have on your photos, before you capture the image.

Nokia’s flagship handset, which is available to buy in the USA already, also comes with an optional camera grip accessory allowing you to use a standard camera tripod to capture smooth photos and videos. For more on the Lumia 1020, check out our hands on and look at the video below.
