Gionee has launched P2, a new Android smartphone and the successor of the P1 in India. The Gionee P1 that was launched back in April had a 3.5-inch capacitive touch screen display. This has 4-inch WVGA display, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-coreMediaTek MT6572 processor with Mali 400 GPU and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera.
The phones comes with dual SIM support with dual standby and Gionee’s custom designed music player. This would compete with Lava Iris 402 that was launched recently.
