Lenovo has launched the S5000 tablet at IFA 2013 in Berlin. The Lenovo S5000 is a 7inch tablet with a HD display running on a quad-core processor from MediaTek. You can check out the hands-on video below to have a quick look at the tablet.

Lenovo S5000 is made of a metal body instead of plastic and that makes it feel better than the other plastic tablets. The tablet feels solid because of the metal build and looks sturdy. On the front, we have the HD display above which we have a front camera for video calls and a earpiece. The tablet is surprisingly thin at 7.9mm.
Lenovo S5000 is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-core processor from MediaTek -MT6589 and runs on Android 4.2 Jellybean. There is 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for expansion of internal storage as well. There is a 5MP camera at the back and a 1.6MP camera at the front. The tablet comes in WiFi only and WiFi+3G variants along with the usual set of smart device connectivity which includes Bluetooth, microUSB and there is USB OTG support as well. Lenovo S5000 is powered by a 3450mAh battery.
