Nokia 515 Hands On

Just before the IFA, Nokia had announced Nokia 515, a premium feature phone. The Nokia 515, unlike other feature phones, is clad in Aluminum and hence it takes the design of feature phones to a new level. Check out our quick hands-on video of Nokia 515 from IFA.

Nokia 515 is a basic feature phone with a premium build. The display on the Nokia 515 measures 2.4inch with a resolution of 240×320(pixel density – 167ppi) and it is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 2 which is usually found in mid-range smartphones. The front of the phone has plastic, but everywhere else, there is Aluminum making it look and feel solid.

Nokia 515 runs Series 40 OS and comes with 3G, Bluetooth and microUSB support. A dual SIM version of Nokia 515 will also be available as Nokia 515 Dual SIM. There is 64MB RAM and 256MB internal storage along with a microSD card slot. There is a 5MP camera along with LED flash at the back that can record QVGA videos at 30fps and there is no secondary camera. It comes with a 1200mAh Li-ion battery.

The price has been set as 115 Euros before taxes which roughly translates to around Rs. 10,000 which can be a little too high for a feature phone.
