Asus has uploaded a new video teaser for the new Padfone on their YouTube channel. Asus has also revealed that the new Padfone is landing on September 17th. Engadget reports that they have received an invite for the new Padfone Infinity event in Taipei next Tuesday. The new teaser doesn’t reveal anything, but the leaked specifications of the Asus Padfone Infinity A86 reveals that the device would come with a Snapdragon 800 processor.httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDd6gINBv3s
Other features are expected to be similar to the Padfone Infinity including a 5-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display for the phone, 10.1-inch (1920×1080 pixels) display for the tablet, 13 MP camera with LED flash with 1080p full HD video recording and 2GB of RAM.
The leaked images showed the device in complete white, unlike the current Padfone Infinity, but the teaser shows a black smartphone and the Padfone station. The device might come in two colors this time. The current-gen Padfone station is likely to be compatible with the new Padfone Infinity.
We have to wait till next week to know more about the next-gen Padfone Infinity.
