LG G Pad 8.3 Hands-on

LG announced their first tablet in nearly two years at IFA 2013 in Berlin – LG G Pad 8.3. The G Pad 8.3 has its design language from the company’s current flagship, G2 and has a very big 8.3inch display. We managed to get our hands on the LG G Pad 8.3 and do check out that video right below.

The G Pad 8.3 looks like a bigger version of the G2 from the front, but at the back, things get pretty interesting as LG G Pad 8.3 is equipped with a dual-material finish. The top and bottom of the back side have the plastic material which is found on the front side, but the middle part is made of solid metal giving it an industrial design.

G Pad 8.3 has a 8.3inch Full HD(1920×1200 pixels) IPS display and it is powered by Snapdragon 600 Quad-core SoC clocked at 1.7GHz. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. There is a microSD card slot to expand the storage. On the back of the G Pad 8.3, there is a 5MP camera which can record 1080p videos while on the front, we have a 1.3MP camera for video calls. The G Pad 8.3 is fueled by a 4600mAh battery.

What do you think of the G Pad 8.3? Is it enough to beat the iPad Mini? Do let us know what you think in the comments below.
