LG rumored to be working on a 6.4-inch smartphone

Sony unveiled the Xperia Z Ultra with a huge 6.44-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor back in June. Now rumors have started to crop up that LG is also planning to launch a large sized smartphone. According to a report from AndroidSAS, LG is working on a smartphone with a 6.4-inch display with 418 ppi pixel density, a quad-core Snadpragon 800 (MSM8974) processor and 3GB of RAM.

LG unveiled the G2, the company’s latest flagship with a 5.2-inch 1080p display and a extremely thin bezel recently. LG Display showed off a 5.5 inch (2560 x 1440 pixels ) quad HD display which we can expect next year, but LG Display has not revealed any other large sized displays recently.  According to the rumors it would feature a 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and run on Android 4.4 Kit-Kat.

There are no details about the name or when we can expect it. Since all these are just rumors at this time and no proof to confirm these, we would ask you to take it with a pinch of salt.
