Swipe Junior tablet for Kids with 7-inch display, Android 4.1 launched for Rs. 5990

Swipe Telecom has launched Swipe Junior, the company’s first tablet for Kids. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) 5-point multi-touch display, powered by a 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. The tablet comes with parental lock that lets parents restrict or block internet usage,  restrict apps that can be accessed by children using Application Manager and a timer to set the amount of time each day that their child can use the tablet.

It comes with an encasing of protective shock-proof coating that protects the tablet from occasional tumble. Since the tablet is made of food-grade quality material, it is completely safe even for toddlers. It also comes  pre-loaded with kids-oriented apps for education. Other apps include, games, entertainment and e-book apps.
