We already reported back in August that Gionee would launch the GPad G3 soon. The phone went official recently and is now available in India from online retailer Snapdeal. It has a 5.5-inch (854 × 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera.
It comes with dual SIM support with dual standby. The GPad G2 that was launched back in May had a 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. Gionee launched the Elife E6, the company’s latest flagship phone earlier this week.
