T-Mobile expands its portfolio with new Alcatel phones


Alcatel announced quite some phones at the IFA earlier this year and now some of these phones are coming to T-Mobile. T-Mobile continues to provide budget friendly as well feature rich phones for its customers as it plans to bring some new Alcatel smartphones. The new phones that will be launching soon on T-Mobile include Alcatel One Touch Evolve, Alcatel One Touch Fierce and Samsung Galaxy Light.

Alcatel One Touch Evolve is an entry range device with a 4inch WVGA display. It is powered by a 1GHz MediaTek MTK6575 processor and has 512MB RAM.

Alcatel One Touch Fierce is a mid-range device with a 4.5inch qHD display. It is powered by MediaTek’s MT6589M Quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and has 1GB RAM.

Both the phones come with 4GB internal storage and have a microSD card slot for expansion. There is a 5MP camera on both the phones that can record 720p HD videos. Both the devices feature a front facing VGA camera.

Along with these two Alcatel phones, T-Mobile will also be introducing the Samsung Galaxy Light which will be an affordable LTE device with a 4inch WVGA display and a 5MP camera.

The pricing and availability of the phones are as follows

  • Alcatel One Touch Evolve – October 16 – Without contract – 99$
  • Alcatel One Touch Fierce  – October 23 – Without contract – 163$
  • Samsung Galaxy Light – Coming soon
