While there’s just a few hours left for Nokia World to kick off, we’ve got our first glimpse of the Nokia Lumia 1320. This device will be a lower end companion to the Lumia 1520. The device will still have a large display but is expected to drop the resolution to 720p. The handset runs the latest release of Windows Phone 8 ie GDR3 and supports the three column layout from GDR3 which reaffirms that this is a restriction based on screen size and not resolution.

The handset was leaked by @evleaks and some basic specifications of the phone are now known. The smartphone that was codenamed ‘Batman’ will have a 5MP camera on the rear and a VGA shooter up front. The screen size too is expected to be about 6 inches. The handset is aimed at the budget phablet market.
