Vodafone India has launched a new international roaming pack for its pre-paid and post-paid customers in India visiting 53 countries including UK, USA, UAE, Thailand, Singapore and more. It offers over 95% discount on data and approximately 78% on outgoing local and international calls compared to existing rates. These are available in two variants, Rs. 599 and Rs. 1499 that comes with a validity of 10 and 30 days respectively. Vodafone launched international roaming packs for post-paid users earlier this year, the new packs are cheaper than that.
For the list of applicable countries and networks, users cab SMS Packcountry to 111. To activate these pack, post-paid users can SMS ACTIR1 for the Rs. 599 pack and ACTIR2 for the Rs. 1499 pack. This offers just Rs. 30/MB for data download while roaming overseas, 95% less than current rates. Outgoing local and international calls cost Rs. 15/min and Rs. 30/min respectively, a discount of about 78%. Incoming calls cost Rs. 30/min (over 50% discount than current rates). The Rs.1499 plan offers 30 minutes of free incoming calls.

Roaming charges would reflect in the next billing cycle for the post-paid customers. Pre-paid customers can avail of these offers through recharge vouchers of Rs. 673 and Rs. 1684 respectively.
