Zen announced its next gen full HD product, the Amaze 701 Full HD at a press conference yesterday. We’ve got our hands on the product and are well on our way to put it through its paces. However we do know that you guys love a good tease so here’s our unboxing and a quick intro to the device.

The specifications of the phone include a 1.5Ghz Quad Core processor. This is the Mediatek MTK6589T processor and is mated with 1GB of RAM. The unique selling point here is the Full HD display and this is very evident from the name of the phone itself. You get 16GB of built in storage and expansion capabilities as well. In addition, the phone has two full size SIM card slots. Over at the back of the phone is a 13MP camera and very interestingly, the front has an 8MP camera module as well. The front camera however does not have auto focus capabilities. The construction of the phone is of magnesium alloy and the back has a texture to it that looks quite appealing.
