Lenovo launched the P780, successor of the P770 back in June. We got the device with a 4000 mAh battery for unboxing. The phone has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) capactive touch screen IPS display and has a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589 processor, better than its predecessor. It runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) with Lenovo’s custom UI on top. Check out the unboxing below.

Since the phone has a non-removable 4000 mAh battery, it doesn’t come with a battery in the box.
It has a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera and comes with dual SIM support similar to the P770.
It a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and has a removable metal back cover. It is just 9.9mm thick. Even though the phone has a removable back cover, the 4000 mAh battery is not removable. The phone also comes with a expandable memory card slot that lets you expand the memory up to 32GB. It also has a RESET button since the battery is not removable. It has 1GB RAM, 4GB internal memory and the usual set of connectivity features including 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, and GPS.
