Apple unveiled the Retina iPad mini along with the iPad Air at an event last month. The iPad Air went on sale in range of countries on November 1st, but the launch date of the new iPad mini was unknown, now the Apple has started selling the Retina iPad mini from the Apple online stores in range of countries. The new iPad mini has similar specifications as the iPad Air, except for the display and battery. It has a 7.9 inch Retina Display with 2048×1536 resolution, new A7 64 bit processor and runs on the latest iOS 7.

The Retina iPad mini comes in Space Gray and White and starts at $399 for the WiFi version and the WiFi + Cellular version starts at $529 for the 16GB variant. It is available for purchase from the Apple Online Store in the U.S, U.K., Australia, China and more countries. The 16GB and 32GB WiFi variants would ship in 1 to 3 business days, while the other versions would take 5 to 10 business days to ship. It is not clear when the iPad Air and the Apple iPad mini with Retina Display would be available in India.
