LG G Flex showcased in India, launching in February 2014

LG has showcased the G Flex, the company’s first smartphone with a curved OLED display in India at an event in Delhi. It would go on sale sometime in February 2014. The company did not reveal the price yet. It was announced back in October and packs a 6-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Curved Plastic OLED display that vertically concave from top to bottom to a radius of 700mm. It is powered by a 2.26 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. It packs a 3500 mAh curved battery.

Software features include, Dual Window for multi-tasking, Swing Lockscreen, Quick Theater, Answer Me, LG Knock-On Guest Mode, Slide Aside and more. The back cover has self-healing technology since it is coated with a special material so that scratches can be removed within minutes.
