Sony would unveil a host of home appliances, gadgets and mobile devices at the International CES next week. Sony China has set a press event in China on January 14th 2014. Even though the press invite doesn’t reveal much details , the colors in the Sony China invite shows Lime, Black, White and Pink, similar to the Sony Xperia Z1 f (SO-02F), the Japanese variant of the Z1 mini that was released for NTT Docomo last year.
The Sony Xperia Z1 mini is expected to have a slightly different design from the Z1 f, but the specifications are expected to be similar. It has a 4.3-inch (1280 x 720pixels) Triluminos Display with with X-Reality engine, powered by 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with Sony G lens with a 27mm wide angle f/2.0 aperture custom 1/2.3″ Sony Exmor RS image sensor, BIONZ image processing engine, 1080p video recording and a 2-megapixel HD front-facing camera, similar to the Xperia Z1.
Sony Mobile might unveil the Xperia Z1 mini even at the CES 2014 next week ahead of the China event. Several mid-range Xperia devices such as Xperia E1, E1 dual and more.
