ZTE Grand S II Hands On

Last year at CES 2013, ZTE announced their ZTE Grand S smartphone and exactly a year later, at the CES 2014, they are showing off the successorZTE Grand S II. The ZTE Grand S II has all the makings and specifications of a typical flagship with a Full HD display, Snapdragon 800 SoC and everything else. We go hands on with the device and you can check out the video right below.

The ZTE Grand SII is unarguably huge with a 5.5inch Full HD display. On the front, above the display, we have the 2MP front facing camera and a 13MP rear camera. There are usual capacitve keys on the front below the display. The back is made of plastic and doesnt look premium. However, the back cover is removable giving access to the user accessible battery.

The ZTE Grand SII is powered by the combination of Snapdragon 800 SoC with quad-core Krait cores, Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB RAM. There is 16GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot. It  runs on Android 4.3 overlaid by ZTE’s UI and the customizations run only skin deep. The ZTE Grand SII is one among the many 5inch Full HD smartphones powered by Snapdragon 800 and does little in terms of differentiating itself from the crowd.
