Last year Sony launched the Xperia Tablet Z, the company’s first 10-inch waterproof tablet. evleaks has just leaked the specifications of the Xperia Z2 Tablet ahead of MWC 2014. The successor would have the same 10.1-inch HD (1920 x 1200 pixels) WUXGA display, but this would be powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor instead of Snapdragon S4 Pro chip. It would run on Android 4.4 (KiKat), comes with 3GB of RAM and 6000 mAh battery.
The first Xperia Z tablet was 6.9 mm thick, but this would be just 6.4mm thick. This one would also be dust and water-resistant. It is not clear if the display would have Sony’s Triluminous technology, similar to the Xperia Z1 and the Z Ultra smartphones.
