Samsung announced a few products for the Indian market today and among them is the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo. Samsung is, off late, adding a “Neo” to its already existing products and with the addition of the tag, it suggests that they are meant for the mid-range and entry range buyers. The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo has specifications relatively less powerful than the Galaxy Grand 2.
The specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo are
- 5-inch (800 x 480 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display
- 1.2 GHz quad-core processor
- Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS
- Dual SIM
- 5MP Auto Focus Camera with LED Flash
- 0.3MP (VGA) secondary camera
- 3.5mm audio jack
- 1GB RAM, 8GB or 16GB internal memory, expandable up to 64GB with microSD
- 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n , Bluetooth, GPS
- 2100 mAh battery
The specifications are a little too mid-range for its price point and also comes with a less fancy last year’s design language, but with a matte finish back. Fonearena was present at the launch event today and you can check out the photo gallery of the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo right below.
As you can see from the images above, the Galaxy Grand Neo breaks Samsung’s trend of a black and white colored device and comes in a very fancy Lime Green and Orange color option. But are the extra color options enough to make you buy this phone instead of other phones? Do let us know what you think in the comments below.
