HP adds two new Windows 8.1 tablets to its business tablets portfolio

HP is present at the Mobile World Congress 2014 event in Barcelona and has just announced a couple of Windows 8.1 tablets – HP ElitePad 1000 and HP ProPad 600. Both the tablets – HP ElitePad 1000 and HP ProPad 600 come with a 10.1inch WUXGA display.

HP ElitePad 1000 Specifications

  • Intel Atom processor
  • 4GB RAM
  • 64/128GB internal storage
  • 8MP rear camera with 2.1MP front facing camera with 1080p video recording

HP ProPad 600 Specifications

  • Windows 8.1 64bit/32bit
  • 9.9mm thick
  • 1.4pounds
  • Gorilla Glass 3 for protection of 10.1WUXGA display
  • Intel Atom processor – Intel Atom™ Z3775 Processor(32bit)/Intel Atom™ Z3795 Processor(64bit)
  • 2/4GB RAM(32/64bit)
  • 32/64GB internal storage
  • 8MP rear camera with 2.1MP front facing camera with 1080p video recording
  • microSD Card support
  • Optional 4G connectivity

The two tablets are expected to arrive in the market very soon – HP ElitePad 1000 will be available by March while HP ProPad 600 will be available during April.

In terms of pricing, the HP ElitePad 1000 will start at $739 and move upwards. The pricing of the HP ProPad 600 will be announced when it launch date comes closer.
