At the IFA 2013, Samsung announced its yesteryear flagship – Galaxy Note 3 and it set a trend for things to come. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 came with a faux leather back and it continued on to other Samsung Galaxy devices – Galaxy Round, Galaxy Grand 2. Samsung somehow missed it on their follow up of S-series of flagship devices – Galaxy S5. Despite missing it on the company’s flagship, Samsung seems to continue the faux leather trend, but this time in a Chromebook.
According to popular twitter leakster @evleaks, the company is planning to launch the second generation of Chromebooks which are gaining popularity because of their cost effectiveness. Samsung is rumored to be launching two variants of its upcoming Chromebook – Exynos variant and an Intel variant. Samsung follows a similar strategy for its smartphones as well – one Exynos variant and another Snapdragon variant.
A leaked retailer’s listing revealed that Samsung Chromebook 2 will be coming in 11.6inches and 13.3inches. According to rumors, the 11.6inches variant will come with Exynos chipset along with 4GB RAM and 16GB SSD while the 13.3inch variant would feature the Intel chipset.
