BSNL Champion DM6513 with 6.5-inch display, Android 4.2 launched for Rs. 6999

BSNL, State Owned Telecom Operator has partnered with Champion to launch BSNL Champion DM6513, a 6.5-inch phablet. The display resolution is unknown. It is powered by a dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. BSNL partnered with Champion to launch BSNL Champion My Phone SM3512 and SM3513 earlier this year. It partnered with Pantel Technologies to launch Penta Smart PS650 with a 6.5-inch screen last year.

It packs 3500 mAh battery, that promises 4 hours of talk time and has a micro SD expansion slot, but details about RAM and internal storage are not available yet.

Commenting on the launch, Kapil Wadhwa, MD, Champion Computers Pvt. Ltd. said,

Our BSNL DM6513 is a 6.5” phablet which is suitable for both work and play. After introducing Feature Phones and Smartphones, we were certain to penetrate in the Phablet market. The BSNL Champion DM6513 comes in White color and is priced at Rs. 6,999. It would be available through online retailers.
