HTC One (M8) Benchmarks

HTC unveiled the HTC One (M8), the latest flagship smartphone earlier today. We manged to get hold of the smartphone at the launch event and range some synthetic benchmark test. The HTC One (M8) is powered by quad-core Snapdragon 801 28nm HPm Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.46 GHz with Adreno 330 GPU. It has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS with HTC Sense 6 on top. The Sony Xperia Z2 and the Samsung Galaxy S5 also have a Snapdragon 801 SoC. Let’s check out the performance in a range of synthetic benchmark tests.

Quadrant Benchmark

The HTC One M8 tops the Quadrant Benchmark with 25974 points.

AnTuTu Benchmark 4

It scored 35181 points in the AnTuTu Benchmark 4.

Linpack Single Thread

It managed to clock around 412.9 MFLOPS in the linpack single thread benchmark.

Linpack Multi-Thread

The HTC One M8 clocked around 727 MFLOPS in the Linpack Multi-Thread benchmark.

Basemark OS II

It scored 1088 points in the Basemark OS II benchmarks.

Vellamo 2.0 HTML5

It managed to score 1806 points in the Vellamo 2 HTML5 browser benchmark.

Vellamo 2.0 Metal

It topped the Vellamo 2 Metal CPU subsystem performance test.

NenaMark 2

It managed to clock 59.7 FPS in the NenaMark 2 GPU benchmark.

GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex (On screen)

It clocked 29.5 fps in the GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex Onscreen benchmark.

Basemark X 1.0 HD (Onscreen)

It clocked around 20.8 fps in the Basemark X 1.0 HD OnScreen benchmark.

Basemark X 1.0 HD (Offscreen)

It clocked around 16.8 fps in the Basemark X 1.0 HD OffScreen benchmark.
