Oppo launched the Oppo R1 (R829), successor of last year’s Oppo R819 in India April in India priced at Rs. 26990. We brought you the unboxing and the benchmarks of the device recently, here we have the camera samples from the smartphone. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with Fujitsu ISP, 1/3.2″ Sony IMX179 sensor with pixel size of 1.4 microns, f/2.0 aperture, 5-element lens and blue glass filter. It also has a single LED flash. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Both the rear and front cameras support 720p HD video recording.

It can record videos at 720p HD resolution, yes it doesn’t support full HD 1080p video recording. It has a secondary microphone on top, so the audio is crisp. Check out the video sample below
