Samsung Gear Live that was announced last week at the Google I/O got priced on the Google Play Store at Rs. 15,900, immediately after the announcement. Now the smartwatch is available for purchase on the Google Play Store in India at the same price. The Gear Live Smartwatch runs on Android Wear, has a 1.63 inch (320 x 320 pixels) Super AMOLED display, powered by a 1.2 GHz processor and packs a 300 mAh battery that promises one day battery life. It also has IP67 certification for water and dust resistance.

It uses Bluetooth 4.0 LE to connect to other devices and is compatible with all phones running Android 4.3, Jelly Bean. It has a stainless steel body with a rubber strap. It has built-in microphones so that you can use “Ok Google” commands. It has 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. It also has dedicated sensors to calculate fitness data through its pedometer and heart rate sensor, similar to Gear 2.
The Samsung Gear Live comes in black color and is available for Rs. 15,900 on Google Play. It is expected to ship in two to three weeks. The LG G Watch that went on preorder on Google Play in India last week for Rs. 14,999 would ship on July 8th.
