Xiaomi Redmi Note-1

Xiaomi launched the three new smartphones in India today. The Xiaomi Mi3 would go on sale in India for Rs. 13,999 next week, cheaper than the price tag that was announced last week. The Xiaomi Redmi Note is priced at Rs. 9999 and would go on sale in coming weeks. We got to check out the smartphone at the launch event. Check out the quick hardware walkthrough below.

Xiaomi Redmi Note-9

The Redmi Note has a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display based on OGS technology and 178-degree wide viewing angle. The variant that is launching in India has a 1.7 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592 processor with Mali 450 GPU and has 2GB RAM. It runs on MIUI v5 ROM based on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera that would let you shoot better selfies.

Xiaomi Redmi Note-10

It has capacitive touch buttons below the display that has a glows in Red color.

Xiaomi Redmi Note-3

It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with single LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture and supports 1080p video recording.

Xiaomi Redmi Note-8

The loudspeaker grill is present on the back. The removable back cover houses a 3100 mAh removable battery, Dual SIM slots and a microSD card slot. It has 8GB of internal storage. Xiaomi would also sell removable back covers in a range of colors separately.

Xiaomi Redmi Note-2

The smartphone is 9.45mm thick. Both the power button and the volume rockers have chrome finish.

Xiaomi Redmi Note-6

It is curved on the sides and the back cover is removable.

Xiaomi Redmi Note-5

The micro USB slot and the primary microphone hole is present on the bottom.

Xiaomi Redmi Note-4

The 3.5mm audio jack and the secondary microphone hole is present on the top. The Redmi Note has 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. We will be bringing you the hands on impressions of the smartphone soon.
