Lava has launched QPAD R704, the company’s latest tablet in the QPAD series. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display, similar to the QPAD e704 tablet that was launched earlier this year, but this is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor instead of a Broadcom processor. It runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) that is upgradable to Android 4.4 (KitKat), has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. It has 3G connectivity via SIM and has voice calling capabilities.
It has High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC), Snapdragon Audio for rich 3D surround sound, Qualcomm Interference Cancellation and Equalization (Q-ICE) that reduces noise in the cellular network and more. It has 3,500 mAh battery that promises up to 300 hours of standby time, 10 hours talk time and has Qualcomm Quick Charge technology for 30% faster charging.
