It looks like Apple is not stopping itself after launching the next generation iPhones and iPads. As per latest rumors, the company’s next iPad will sport a 12.2 inch screen and that will compete with Microsoft’s Surface tablet.
Likely dubbed as iPad Pro, the tablet will be thinner than the iPhone 6 Plus, as per a latest report from Japanese site Macotakara. According to the report, the larger iPad will include a 12.2-inch display which is smaller to the rumored 12.9-inch for the device. Talking about the design of the iPad the report said that its thickness is expected to be somewhere between an iPhone 6’s 6.9 millimeter body and iPhone 6 Plus’s 7.1 millimeter body and thicker than the iPad Air 2’s 6.1 millimeter frame.
Moving on, the report states that the iPad Pro will have stereo speakers and microphones on both the top and bottom edges for better sound experience. Finally, the report says that it is expected to be announced in early 2015.
