ASUS introduced the ZenWatch, the company’s first smartwatch based on Android Wear platform at the IFA back in September. Now the smartwatch is available in the U.S. through Google Play and Best Buy, priced at $199.99 (Rs. 12,350 approx), cheaper than both the Moto 360 and the LG G Watch R.
The ZenWatch has a 1.63” (320 x 320 pixels) AMOLED 2.5D curved glass screen and has a soft genuine stitched leather strap with quick release clasp. It is powered by a Snadpragon 400 chip, 4GB of internal storage and 512MB RAM, similar to other Android Wear smartwatches. It has IP55 ratings for water resistance and has a built-in microphone to listen to Google Now voice commands.
It has custom ZenUI to select from changeable watch faces to match your style, has features like Watch Unlock, Remote Camera, Cover to Mute, Find My Phone, Presentation Control and more. It has 9-axis sensor to monitor and track your steps, calories burned, activity duration, heart rate, exercise intensity and relaxation level.
