Pinterest app for Android has received an update that brings several new features. The popular scrapbooking app has is getting simplified navigation and a refreshed UI.
The app is allowing user to browse the app thanks to a simplified navigation. A refreshed UI is also coming to the app thanks to the addition of Material Design feature. Image now appear on the app and it also gets a cleaner navigation. Moving on, Pinterest is also making the app faster by reducing the start-up time and claims that the app will load in less than two seconds.
The Pinterest logo has shrunk to a P and moved to the far left while the search icon shifted to the top righthand side alongside an added chat box. Pinterest said that the update will slowly roll out to Android apps. Pinterest launched a Windows Phone in beta in June. Even the iOS app for Pinterest received a brand new look few weeks ago.
