Earlier this week, we reported that AirDroid 3 beta has started testing for Windows and Mac. Today, AirDroid 3 has officially come out of beta and launched on Android.
The latest version of the popular web based management app further enhances multitasking capability between your smartphone and desktop computer. It comes with anupdated UI and a few new features, but the biggest change is the addition of stand-alone clients for Windows and OS X.
AirDroid 3 also brings end-to-end encryption for SMS, app notifications, contact info, and other data sent between your Android devices and the AirDroid desktop app. The company said the encryption feature uses “typical public-key cryptography,” as well as some security technology the company developed in-house.
