HTC has big plans for its next flagship phone. The Taiwanese handset maker is reportedly working on the successor of One (M8) that will be called as Hima.
According to the popular leakster @upleaks, HTC’s latest flagship will not be named as One (M9) and sport a 5 inch display with 1080p resolution and run on the powerful Snapdragon 810 processor. Expected to release in 2015, it will have a 20.7MP rear camera, while its front snapper is believed to be either a 13MP sensor or an UltraPixel 4MP shooter. Other specs include 3GB RAM, 2,840mAh battery and the phone will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense 7.0 UI on top, and support LTE Cat. 6 networks.
Previously, the HTC One (M9) was rumored with 5.5-inch QHD display, a Snapdragon 805 CPU, 3GB of RAM, a 16MP rear camera, and a beefy 3,500mAh battery. Moreover, @upleaks also shared that HTC will also bring the Hima Ace smartphone. This phone is most likely going to be an affordable version with dual SIM support and will be targeted at emerging China and will probably be released in other locations across Asia.
Finally, @upleaks also revealed that HTC will launch the aforeentioned phone at Mobile Wolrd Congress (MWC) 2015 takes place between March 2nd and March 5th in Barcelona, Spain. The company is even expected to unveil some new Desire phones at the event.
