Xolo launched the Omega 5.0 smartphone for Rs. 8,999 earlier today. We already brought you the unboxing of the smartphone. Here we have the benchmarks. It is powered by a Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592M processor with 8 ARM Cortex-A7 CPUs clocked at 1.36 GHz per core. It has a Mali 450-MP4 GPU, comes with a 5-inch HD display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with HIVE UI on top. The CPU supports Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP), where all the core can be turned on at the same time. Check out the synthetic benchmark results below.

It scored 507 points in the Basemark OS II benchmark. Overall the performance of the smartphone in the good compared to other smartphone in similar price range.
