Kindle has given its Android app a major update. The reading app now gets some significant features, some of which are already present on the iOS app.
First up, the Kindle app for Android is getting X Ray support for books and textbooks. The X-Ray feature allows users to easily discover more information about characters, places, and terms in what they are reading. Next up, the app is getting the ability to create flash cards to study textbooks. Flashcards are self-explanatory since they merely let people study textbooks inside of the app. It uses data from the X-Ray feature of the app to automatically create the flashcards. In addition, the app even gets push notification. Finally, the Kindle app for Android with version 4.8.0 has been updated with some improvements and “bug fixes.”
