Meru Cabs has introduced that it has added Google Now integration to its app. Google updated the Google Search app to support Google Now cards from third party apps recently. Meru Cabs becomes the first cab service in India to integrate with the Google app. The Google Now integration will send passengers reminders for cab pickups, alerting them in case they wish to avail of a cab depending on their location, as well as other such information through Now cards within the Google app for Android, says the company.
The latest Meru Cabs app has one touch booking, tracking your cab, confirmed booking up to 7 days in advance and Cab-Wallet. Several apps from US companies such as Airbnb, eBay, Waze and more have Google Now integration.
