Uber has slashed fares for the low-cost uberX and its cheapest uberGO service across India. uberBLACK has also received a price cut in some cities. Some cities get 25% price cut and some get 30%, 35% and even 40% price cut. Base fare is somewhat the same in most cities, but cos per kilometer has been reduced drastically. With the price cut Uber will give a tough competition to OLA, TaxiForSure, Meru and others.
