Earlier today, Google unveiled a new model of the Chromebook pixel which also sports the USB Type -C that Apple introduced to the newly launched MacBooks this week. USB Type-C cables will be able transfer data at a top speed of 10 gigabits per second, according to the USB Implementers Forum. The USB Type-C is reversible and allows users to plug it anyway. This eliminates the need for multiple ports which also reduces the number of cables needed. It even transfers data and powers your devices simultaneously

Google did not say when and on which devices it will bring the USB Type- C connector.
