Google has just updated its Play Store and it brings a few improvements and features to the table. The latest version is 5.5 and will be rolling out across Android devices as we speak.
Google has added a circular animation that shows up when you tap on a TV show title. When you tap on a title, the circle moves to the center at the top and then expands to show you more information about the show you selected. While this definitely looks really pleasing, it does add quite a bit of time to your navigation through the app. Check out the video below to see it in action.

Another addition is that now the app shows you popular quotes or phrases from reviews that may help you make your mind about an app or game much easier. For example if many users have used the word “addictive” in their reviews, the word would be highlighted along with list of people who have used it in the reviews.
Although the update is rolling across all devices, it still may take sometime for your device to get it depending on your region. Also currently, only devices that run Android Lollipop 5.1 will be able to see the circular animation.
