Xiaomi introduced the Mi Note Pro back in January this year. It went on sale in China few weeks back, months after the Xiaomi Mi Note was launched. It has the same design as the Mi Note with better specifications. Here we have the unboxing of the smartphone in India.

It is the first smartphone from Xiaomi to feature a Quad HD screen, it comes with a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection. There is a 4-megapixel camera on the front, above the display. It is powered by a Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor with Adreno 430 GPU and has 4GB DDR4 RAM, making it one of the powerful smartphones. The phone runs on Android 5.0.2 (Lollipop) with MI UI 6 on top.
The sides of the smartphone is gold in color, unlike the Mi Note, which has Silver colored frame. It has Dual SIM (micro + nano) slot in a single tray on the side. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, OIS, Sony IMX214 BSI sensor, 6-element lens, f/2.0 aperture and 4K video recording. It has 64GB of internal storage without expansion slot.
It has a 3090mAh built-in battery and glass back. At the China launch event, Xiaomi said that it has reduced heating issues in the Snapdragon 810 processor by adding graphite cooling using 5 heat conductivity patents. It also said that after playing games for 20 minutes the temperature on the back of Mi Note Pro is 36.3 degree Celsius. We will check it out soon in the gaming review soon.
