Samsung and Universal Pictures have come together to enter into a global marketing partnership for Amblin Entertainment’s Jurassic World. If you had seen the trailer for Jurassic World, you would have noticed that characters in the film were using Samsung smartphones.
So that probably was a hint at things to come. As a part of this agreement, Samsung would showcase exclusive content from the film on its SUHD TVs at retail stores in the USA till the movie’s release on June 12th.
Jurassic World Producer, Frank Marshall said:
“Samsung is a part of our story. Our vision for the movie was that the theme park was very real, so we went to great lengths to make audiences feel like they were part of the experience — that really adds to the storytelling.”
Samsung also played a role in the film’s world premiere and after-party where it created a video wall using SUHD TVs and displayed content from the movie itself. Samsung had previously partnered with Marvel as well to promote Avengers : Age of Ultron and even released a limited Iron Man edition of the Galaxy S6 Edge.
