Etisalat DB is one of the few companies who have not started services in India despite possessing a license. Now they are going to start offering mobile services under the Cheers banner. Their website went live just minutes ago and it seems a bit slow.

Cheers Mobile Service will be available across 15 major circles in India. The service is currently operational in select cities which is quite surprising as we have not seen any promo either online or offline . I tried contacting the Nodal officers but all calls are routed to a single person who does not have any information about the exact launch.
They have even published the tariffs and SIM card details, call rates are as low as 10 paise per min within the cheers network and 30 paise per min to outside the cheers network.
