Snapchat is further improving its Discover feature by bringing it directly to your main feed. The Discover section which features promoted content from media partners is now displayed at the top of each user’s “Stories” list.
Prior to this update, users had to swipe to access the Discover section. After checking out the content from partners like CNN, People, ESPN, Comedy Central and others users will now see the Stories list that are live around the world followed by recent updates from friends that you follow. The update is aimed at bringing more views for the Discover section that was launched in January earlier this year. iOS app for Snapchat has already received this update and is expected to hit Android soon.
In May, Snapchat updated its mobile apps on Android and iOS with the ability to share content easily with Discover. The Discover section brings news and editorial platform that delivers daily stories and videos from more than 10 media partners.
