OnePlus 2 has surfaced in live images on XDA forum (Via) through a beta tester in China. This coincides with the image seen in the TENAA listing. These images show the smartphone from all the angles that includes a metal frame and removable back cover with Sandstone Black finish that has a hidden SIM tray with dual SIM support that was confirmed by the CEO recently.The battery is not removable, similar to the Moto G series of smartphones.
It also shows a fingerprint sensor on home button that will be faster than Apple’s TouchID, according to the company. We already know that the OnePlus 2 will come with improved Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 SoC, feature a USB Type-C connector, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, dual SIM support and a 3300mAh battery.
It is said to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, dual LED flash and laser auto focus. According the user, it runs on early version of Oxygen OS.
The OnePlus 2 will be announced in a few hours at 7:00 PM PT, which is 7:30 AM IST tomorrow in India in a virtual reality event. OnePlus recently started taking registrations for the invite and also released the app to watch the VR event.
