Motorola Droid Maxx 2 that is heading to Verizon has been leaked in live images. The phone is said to come to the US as Moto X Play as it has similar specifications.
As per the leaked image, the design of the Droid Maxx 2 is similar to that of the Moto X Play. A Verizon and Droid branding is also seen at the lower back of the phone. The phone is said to sport a 5.5-inch 1080p display and will be powered by a 1.65GHz Snapdragon 615. Running on Android 5.1.1, it will come with 2GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage with a microSD slot. The phone will have a 21MP rear camera and 3630 mAH battery. CPU-Z screenshot says that the phone has only “8GB” of internal storage showing one difference between Moto X Play as it has 16GB internal storage.
Currently, the phone is carrying a code name of “lux” and is said to be model number XT1565. The Moto X Play is using model numbers XT1562 and XT1563, which are very similar. Just yesterday, a listing on Zauba showed that Moto X Play is coming to India.
