Pebble has launched Pebble Time Round, it’s first circular smartwatch. The new Pebble Time Round is slimmer, smaller and thinner smartwatch that continues to sport a color e-ink display.
Pebble claims that the new smartwatch is the lightest in the world as it is 7.5mm thin and weighs just 28 grams. It sports a color e-ink always on display that debuted on the Pebble Time that was launched in February this year. The Time Round comes with three buttons on the right and one on the left. It has a microphone for voice actions and connects to both the iPhone and Android devices, displaying notifications, controlling music and other smartphone features remotely and running Pebble apps, of which there are more than 6,500 available. Charging for 15 minutes will provide a day of use, while a full charge takes about 45 minutes. The watch uses the same type of USB charger as earlier Pebbles.

The Pebble Time Round is now available for pre-order for $249.99 from Pebble’s website, as well as Best Buy, Target and Amazon. It comes in silver, black or rose gold color options. The watche will start shipping and will be available at other U.S. retailers in November. Retail availability will begin later this year in the U.K., followed by EU retailers early next year.
