Oppo has announced the Oppo R7s smartphone in the R series at the GITEX 2015 in Dubai, as it promised. It features a 5.5-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display with 2.2mm narrow bezel, is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and runs on Color OS 2.1 based on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It has a magnesium aluminium unibody design, 2.5D Arc Edge screen and also has Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It doesn’t have a finger print sensor like the Oppo R7 Plus, but it has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the R7 and the R7 Plus.
It has 4G LTE connectivity (Bands 1/3/5/7/8/TD-40) and dual SIM support that lets you use the second nano SIM slot as a microSD slot when required. It has 3070mAh battery with VOOC Rapid Charge that lets you charge the phone up to 90% in just 50 minutes.

The Oppo R7s comes in Golden and Silver colors and will gradually roll out in Singapore, Australia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand as well as MENA region, with the United Arab Emirates as a hub. It will be available for purchase in Europe and USA through the Oppo Style website after that in December, said the company. No word on the pricing yet, but we should know the price for China when it releases in the country at an event in Beijing tomorrow.
