Gionee F105, successor of the F103 has been certified by China’s TENAA (Via). According to the listing, the smartphone packs a 5-inch HD IPS display, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the F103, but this runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) out of the box.
This has a metal frame, but it doesn’t have a glass back like the F103. It also has 4G LTE connectivity and is expected to come with dual SIM support as well, depending on the market. After launching the F103 smartphone with 2GB RAM in India back in September, Gionee even launched 1GB RAM and 3GB RAM variants of the phone in the country last month.
