Samsung might just push Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to its Galaxy A8 soon, considering the device has already received Wi-Fi Certification approval for the latest firmware build of Android.

The Galaxy A8 was launched last year and it comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. Although, Samsung was likely to push the update earlier this year but then it never did. Now, the dual-SIM variant of the Galaxy A8 (SM-A800F) has received Wi-Fi Certification for the Android 6.0, as spotted by Sammobile.

The Wi-Fi certification approval by Wi-Fi Alliance usually means that the device manufacturers can start pushing out an OTA update anytime. So we are expecting the Marshmallow update to reach out to all Galaxy A8 users really soon. You can checkout for the update in Settings > About phone > Software update.
